Mini Highland Cow (Mui-Lewis)

Not only do they have excellent Highland conformation, but their gentle temperament also makes them a delight to work with. Mui-Lewis’s willingness to voluntarily come into halter training at such a young age is a testament to their intelligence and trainability.

However, our decision not to choose Mui-Lewis as our keeper calf this year has nothing to do with any faults or deficiencies on their part. It is simply, that Big Fergus, is still a young bull and doesn’t need to be replaced anytime soon. We want to ensure that our breeding program maintains a healthy and diverse genetic pool, and it would not be prudent to replace a young and promising bull like Fergus prematurely.
